Job Role Overview & Importance
A Work Permit Receiver (WPR) plays a key role in ensuring that all job activities are properly authorized before execution. In large industrial projects like Jafurah, WPRs are responsible for maintaining safety compliance and controlling work permits for high-risk activities.
Even in non-Aramco projects, the WPR position remains essential because it ensures coordination between supervisors, safety teams, and workers. Proper permit management helps prevent accidents, maintain discipline on-site, and ensure smooth workflow across multiple departments.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for receiving, verifying, and managing work permits before any job begins. Duties include coordinating with supervisors, ensuring all safety documents are in place, and confirming that workers follow approved procedures.
WPR personnel will also maintain records of permits, support safety teams, and ensure that only authorized activities are carried out at the worksite. They must ensure compliance with project safety rules at all times.
In Jafurah projects, where operations are complex and high-risk, WPRs play an important role in maintaining control and safety discipline.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must have previous experience in Jafurah L&T projects, as this is a mandatory requirement. Strong knowledge of permit-to-work systems and industrial safety procedures is essential.
Candidates must possess valid Saudi documents including Absher Iqama, updated Muqeem, insurance, GOSI, passport, and fresh medical QR code. A recent CV and passport-size photos are also required.
Applicants must be physically fit, detail-oriented, and capable of working in demanding industrial environments.
