Job Role Overview & Importance
A Scaffolding Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling activities on industrial sites. In Aramco projects, safety compliance is extremely strict, and supervisors are responsible for ensuring that all scaffolding structures are safe, stable, and meet engineering requirements.
This position is essential for supporting construction, maintenance, and shutdown activities, enabling safe access for workers at height. Proper scaffolding supervision helps prevent accidents and ensures smooth execution of project operations.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising scaffolding teams, inspecting structures, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. They will monitor daily scaffolding activities and ensure that all installations meet Aramco safety standards.
Additional responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, approving scaffolding layouts, coordinating with site engineers, and ensuring that all workers follow proper procedures. The supervisor must also maintain documentation and report any safety concerns immediately.
Strong leadership and communication skills are required to manage teams effectively in high-risk industrial environments.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must be Aramco Approved Scaffolding Supervisors (S1) with proven experience in industrial or oil and gas projects. Strong knowledge of scaffolding standards, safety procedures, and structural stability requirements is essential.
Candidates should be physically fit and capable of working in demanding field conditions. Experience in large-scale Aramco or EPC projects will be considered a strong advantage.
