Job Role Overview & Importance
A 4G Welder specializes in overhead welding positions, one of the most challenging welding techniques used in industrial construction, fabrication yards, refineries, and infrastructure projects. These professionals play a critical role in ensuring the strength, durability, and safety of welded structures and equipment.
In industrial projects, welders contribute directly to construction quality and operational reliability. Their expertise helps ensure that pipelines, steel structures, and equipment installations meet engineering specifications and safety standards.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Selected candidates will perform welding activities according to project drawings, welding procedures, and quality requirements. Daily responsibilities include preparing welding surfaces, operating welding equipment, inspecting completed welds, and maintaining workplace safety standards.
Welders will also be required to follow project specifications, coordinate with supervisors and quality inspectors, and ensure all welding work complies with applicable industry codes and regulations.
