Position Descriptions

The Welding Quality Control Inspector position requires a single highly skilled professional to oversee all welding operations, conduct inspections of welded structures and joints, and verify compliance with international and Aramco specifications. Health and Safety Environment Supervisors (5 positions) will manage comprehensive safety programs, oversee risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct safety training, and maintain incident reporting and prevention protocols. These supervisory roles require leadership capabilities and strategic safety planning across multiple operational areas. Health and Safety Environment Officers (5 positions) will execute daily safety operations, conduct site inspections, implement safety procedures, manage personal protective equipment distribution, and support incident investigation and documentation. Both HSE roles demand thorough knowledge of Saudi labor regulations, OSHA standards, and international safety management systems. The Welding QCI role is critical for maintaining quality standards and preventing costly rework or structural failures in welded components.

Key Responsibilities and Core Competencies

The Welding QCI will perform visual and dimensional inspections of welds, document inspection results, coordinate with welding teams and engineers, maintain calibrated inspection equipment, and ensure adherence to welding procedures and quality standards. HSE Supervisors will develop safety policies and procedures, conduct toolbox talks and safety training sessions, manage safety committees, respond to incidents and near-misses, investigate accidents, and report safety metrics to management. They will also ensure compliance with OSHA, IOSH, and Saudi labor ministry requirements, and oversee contractor safety performance. HSE Officers will perform daily site safety inspections, monitor compliance with personal protective equipment requirements, participate in safety audits, coordinate with contractors and subcontractors on safety matters, maintain safety documentation, and conduct hazard identification assessments. Both HSE positions require excellent communication skills, strong documentation capabilities, and the ability to enforce safety standards consistently across diverse work teams and cultural backgrounds.

Required Qualifications and Certifications

All candidates must hold current Aramco-Approved certification in their respective disciplines. The Welding QCI requires ASNT Level III Welding Inspector certification or equivalent, with documented experience in Aramco-spec inspection procedures. HSE Supervisors and Officers must possess Aramco HSE approval certifications. All candidates must hold current OSHA certification and IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) membership or equivalent recognized safety management qualifications. A minimum of five years’ relevant experience in industrial, petrochemical, or construction sectors is required. Welding QCI candidates need demonstrated competency in welding processes, material specifications, and inspection methodologies. HSE professionals require comprehensive knowledge of occupational health regulations, risk management principles, and safety culture development. Strong English language skills, excellent documentation abilities, and computer proficiency are essential for all positions.
