Forklift Operator (Jubail)
A Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, movement, and transportation of materials within industrial, construction, and warehouse environments. This role is essential in maintaining smooth logistics operations, especially in large-scale projects where heavy goods and equipment must be moved accurately and safely. In industrial hubs like Jubail, Saudi Arabia, forklift operators play a key role in supporting construction, manufacturing, and energy sector activities by ensuring timely material handling and minimizing operational delays.
Key Duties and Operational Responsibilities
The selected Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials across designated work areas. Duties include ensuring proper stacking and placement of goods, checking load stability, and following safety protocols during all operations. Operators are expected to inspect equipment before and after use to ensure proper working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately. Coordination with site supervisors and logistics teams is required to maintain efficient workflow. The role also includes adherence to site safety rules, careful handling of sensitive materials, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the working area.
Required Skills, Certification, and Experience
Applicants must possess a valid forklift operating licence along with an SPSP or EnergyTech Zoomlion certification card. Prior experience in operating forklifts in industrial or construction environments is highly preferred. Candidates should have a strong understanding of workplace safety procedures, load management, and equipment handling techniques. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and responsibility is essential. Good communication skills, discipline, and attention to detail are required to ensure safe and efficient operations at all times. Knowledge of basic mechanical inspection and maintenance is an added advantage.
