A Work Permit Receiver (WPR) is responsible for receiving, reviewing, and implementing work permits before maintenance, construction, and shutdown activities begin at industrial facilities. The WPR ensures that all work is carried out in accordance with Aramco safety standards, permit procedures, and project requirements. Working closely with Piping Foremen, Pipe Fitters, Fire Watchers, Cladders, and Electricians, the WPR plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. Mubarak Contracting Company (MCC) is urgently recruiting qualified personnel for an industrial project.
Primary Duties and Work Responsibilities
Work Permit Receivers coordinate with operations and safety departments, verify work permits, ensure all required safety precautions are implemented, conduct toolbox talks, monitor work activities, and stop work whenever unsafe conditions are identified. They also maintain permit records and ensure compliance with Aramco HSE regulations.
Piping Foremen supervise piping installation and fabrication crews, while Pipe Fitters install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to engineering drawings. Fire Watchers monitor hot work areas to prevent fire hazards and respond to emergencies. Cladders install protective cladding and insulation materials on industrial equipment and structures. Electricians install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems used throughout the project.
Required Skills, Experience, and Professional Knowledge
Applicants must have relevant experience in their respective trade. Aramco Certification is mandatory for the WPR and Fire Watch positions. Piping Foremen should have Abu Ali project experience, while Pipe Fitters must possess at least three years of experience. A Vendor Code is required for the first four positions.
