Job Role Overview & Importance
Welders play a critical role in construction and industrial fabrication projects by joining metal structures and piping systems using specialized welding techniques. 3G and 4G welding positions are considered advanced skills, often required in oil & gas, refinery, and heavy construction projects.
SS 409 rod welders work on stainless steel materials, while carbon steel (CS) welders handle structural and piping fabrication. These roles are essential for ensuring structural strength, durability, and safety compliance in industrial projects.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Selected welders will perform welding tasks based on project specifications, including 3G and 4G welding positions in both stainless steel and carbon steel materials. Daily responsibilities include preparing welding surfaces, operating welding equipment, and ensuring weld quality meets project standards.
Welders will also inspect completed welds, identify defects, and ensure corrective measures are taken when necessary. They must follow safety guidelines, wear protective equipment, and maintain compliance with industrial safety procedures.
Accuracy, discipline, and high-quality workmanship are essential to ensure successful project execution.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must have proven experience in 3G/4G welding, particularly in SS 409 rod and CS welding. Strong technical skills and hands-on experience in industrial fabrication or construction projects are required.
Iqama holders with valid Abshar registration, insurance, and updated CV are eligible to apply. It is important to note that certain Iqama categories are not accepted, so candidates must ensure their documentation meets the employer’s requirements.
