Safety Officer (Long-Term)
An urgent opportunity is available for experienced Aramco-approved Safety Officers for a long-term industrial project near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Safety Officers play a vital role in maintaining a safe working environment by implementing health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring full compliance with company and Aramco standards. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in industrial safety management and a commitment to protecting workers and project assets through proactive safety practices.
Key Responsibilities and Work Duties
The selected Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring daily site activities and ensuring that all operations comply with Aramco safety requirements and international HSE standards. Duties include conducting toolbox talks, performing safety inspections, identifying workplace hazards, and implementing corrective actions where necessary. The candidate will review work permits, investigate incidents, prepare safety reports, and coordinate with supervisors and project management to maintain a safe work environment. The role also requires ensuring that all personnel properly use personal protective equipment and strictly follow site safety procedures.
Required Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of professional experience in industrial safety, with mandatory experience on Aramco projects. A valid NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is required for this position. Candidates should possess excellent knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency response planning, and safety management systems. Strong communication skills, leadership ability, and the capacity to work under pressure are essential. A valid Iqama is mandatory, and applicants should be available for immediate consideration.
