Jamman Obaid Al Rashdi Contracting Company (JRC) is urgently hiring experienced Work Permit Receivers (WPR) who are Aramco certified for a long-term industrial project in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in ensuring that all construction and maintenance activities are carried out safely and in full compliance with Aramco permit-to-work systems. The Work Permit Receiver acts as a key safety link between the site operations team and Aramco safety management, ensuring that all work activities are authorized, controlled, and executed under strict safety regulations. Candidates must be highly disciplined, safety-focused, and fully familiar with Aramco standards and procedures.
Core Duties and Job Responsibilities
The Work Permit Receiver will be responsible for obtaining, verifying, and managing work permits before any task begins on-site. This includes coordinating with supervisors, safety officers, and Aramco representatives to ensure all permits are properly issued and valid. The candidate must ensure that all job activities comply with safety requirements, hazard controls, and site-specific instructions. Additional responsibilities include conducting toolbox talks, verifying job site readiness, ensuring proper isolation of equipment, and maintaining continuous communication with the permit issuer. The WPR must also ensure that all documentation is properly maintained and submitted according to project requirements.
Required Skills, Certification, and Experience
Applicants must hold a valid Aramco certification as a Work Permit Receiver, with proven experience in industrial or oil and gas projects. A strong understanding of Aramco safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and hazard identification procedures is essential. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and strong coordination abilities with multiple site departments. Valid Iqama is mandatory, and candidates must be ready for immediate mobilization. Experience in the Eastern Region project environment will be considered a strong advantage.
