Primary Duties and Work Responsibilities
The Welder is responsible for performing high-quality 3G and 4G welding on structural steel and industrial components according to approved welding procedures and engineering specifications. Daily responsibilities include preparing welding materials, reading technical drawings, setting up welding equipment, inspecting weld joints, maintaining welding quality, and following all workplace safety standards. Welders must ensure that completed welds meet project quality requirements while working efficiently as part of a fabrication or construction team. Participation in the scheduled trade test is mandatory before final selection.
