Rigger & Scaffolder
This opportunity is for experienced Rigger Level 3 TUV certified professionals and certified Scaffolders for a long-term industrial assignment in the Jafurah project. The role is part of a large-scale construction and maintenance operation where safety, precision, and technical expertise are essential. Workers will be engaged in heavy lifting, structural support activities, and assembly/disassembly of scaffolding systems in compliance with international safety standards. The project requires disciplined, physically fit, and certified manpower capable of working in high-pressure industrial environments while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and site regulations.
Core Responsibilities and Work Duties
Selected Rigger Level 3 candidates will be responsible for lifting, shifting, and positioning heavy materials using mechanical lifting equipment while ensuring proper rigging techniques are followed at all times. They must inspect lifting gear, calculate load weights, and ensure safe communication with crane operators during operations. Scaffolders will be responsible for assembling and dismantling scaffolding structures, ensuring stability, alignment, and safety compliance before use by other workers. Both roles require strict monitoring of worksite hazards, proper use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to supervisor instructions. Workers must also ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and report any safety issues immediately.
Skills, Certification, and Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must hold an original TUV Rigger Level 3 certification or original scaffolding card as applicable. Prior experience in oil and gas or large construction projects is highly preferred. Candidates must have strong physical strength, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work at heights and in challenging site conditions. Knowledge of international safety standards, lifting procedures, and scaffold safety guidelines is essential. Basic communication skills and the ability to follow technical instructions in a team-based environment are also required. Valid documents including Iqama, Muqeem, medical fitness certificate, insurance, GOSI registration, and passport are mandatory for processing.
