Primary Duties and Responsibilities
An Aramco Work Permit Receiver (WPR) is responsible for managing the permit-to-work process, coordinating with operations and HSE personnel, verifying worksite safety conditions, and ensuring all work activities comply with Aramco regulations. A Standby Man monitors high-risk work areas, supports confined space and hazardous operations, maintains communication with work crews, and assists during emergency situations. A Piping Line Checker inspects installed piping systems, verifies alignment with engineering drawings, checks dimensions and quality standards, and ensures project specifications are met before commissioning. A Mechanical Fitter installs, assembles, repairs, and maintains industrial mechanical equipment, piping systems, pumps, and valves while ensuring safe and efficient operation. All personnel are expected to follow company policies, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Applicants should have relevant industrial project experience in their respective trades. Aramco WPR candidates should possess valid Aramco authorization and thorough knowledge of permit-to-work procedures. Standby Man applicants must hold a valid TÜV certification from Bureau Veritas or Standard Arabia and have a valid Vendor Code. Mechanical Fitters must also possess a valid Vendor Code and demonstrate experience in industrial mechanical maintenance and installation. Piping Line Checkers should have practical knowledge of piping inspection, isometric drawings, and quality control procedures. Candidates must have a valid Chamber registration along with Iqama and Muqeem valid for at least three months. Strong communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and strict adherence to safety standards are essential for all positions.
