WPR, Rigger III, Fabricator & Mechanical Supervisor
This recruitment drive is for a short-term industrial project requiring skilled manpower across multiple technical and supervisory roles. The positions include Work Permit Receiver (WPR), Rigger III, Fabricator, and Mechanical Supervisor, all of which are essential for supporting construction and maintenance activities in oil and gas operations. In industrial regions such as Jizan, these roles are in high demand due to ongoing development in energy and infrastructure sectors.
Each role contributes to safe and efficient project execution. While WPR ensures permit compliance and safety authorization, riggers handle lifting operations, fabricators manage structural and mechanical assembly, and supervisors oversee team performance and technical execution on site.
Key Responsibilities and Job Duties
The Work Permit Receiver (WPR) is responsible for managing work permits, ensuring all safety approvals are completed before any task begins, and maintaining compliance with site safety standards. They coordinate between supervisors and safety teams to ensure smooth and authorized work execution.
Rigger III workers handle basic lifting and rigging operations, including attaching loads, supporting crane activities, and ensuring safe handling of equipment under supervision. Their role is critical in preventing accidents during lifting operations.
Fabricators are responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing metal structures and components based on technical drawings. Their work ensures the structural integrity of project installations.
Mechanical Supervisors oversee mechanical teams, ensuring that all mechanical work is executed according to project specifications. They monitor progress, guide technicians, and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained throughout the project.
Required Skills and Experience
Applicants should have relevant industrial experience in oil & gas or construction projects, preferably with Aramco-related exposure. Technical knowledge, safety awareness, and the ability to work under pressure are essential for all positions.
Riggers and fabricators must have hands-on experience in their respective trades, while supervisors must demonstrate leadership skills and strong technical understanding. WPR candidates should be familiar with permit-to-work systems and safety procedures.
Physical fitness, discipline, and teamwork are important for all roles, especially in active industrial environments.
