Work Permit Receiver (WPR) – Rate: SAR 18/hour

AAMC is currently seeking experienced Work Permit Receivers (WPR) for an urgent requirement at the Project. This opportunity is suitable for candidates who understand industrial work-permit procedures and can effectively coordinate with supervisors, workers, and site management before any work begins. The Work Permit Receiver plays an important role in maintaining safe working conditions by ensuring that required permits, approvals, precautions, and site requirements are properly completed. The offered rate for this position is SAR 18 per hour, and selected candidates are required for immediate mobilization. Candidates with previous experience in Overhead Transmission Line projects may receive preference because familiarity with this type of work environment can be an added advantage.

Core Duties & Site Responsibilities

The selected WPR will be responsible for receiving and verifying work permits before workers start their assigned activities. The role includes checking that the permit contains the correct information, required signatures, safety precautions, isolation requirements, and other necessary approvals. The Work Permit Receiver must coordinate with the relevant site authorities and supervisors and ensure that workers understand the conditions mentioned in the permit. During ongoing activities, the WPR should remain attentive to changing site conditions and ensure that work continues according to approved safety requirements. If unsafe conditions or changes in the work scope are identified, the WPR should communicate with the responsible personnel and take the appropriate action before work continues. Proper communication, documentation, and awareness of site safety procedures are therefore essential parts of this position.

Required Qualifications & Practical Knowledge

Applicants should have practical knowledge of work-permit systems and industrial safety procedures. Candidates must possess a valid Iqama, along with a valid passport, Muqeem, Body Fitness Certificate, and GOSI Paper. Previous experience as a Work Permit Receiver in industrial, construction, shutdown, transmission, or related projects can be beneficial. In particular, experience with Overhead Transmission Line projects will be considered an added advantage. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and workers, understand permit conditions, follow site instructions, and maintain proper documentation. A responsible attitude toward safety and the ability to work under project requirements are important for successful performance in this role.
