An urgent manpower requirement has been announced for Yanbu City for experienced safety-related positions including Work Permit Receiver (WPR), Fire Watch, and Standby Man, all with Marafiq approval. These roles are essential in industrial operations where strict safety control, hazard monitoring, and permit-to-work systems are mandatory. The selected candidates will be deployed on a short-term project with strong emphasis on safety compliance, operational discipline, and continuous site monitoring to ensure accident-free execution of work activities.

Key Responsibilities and Job Duties

The Work Permit Receiver (WPR) is responsible for handling and controlling work permits before any job starts on site. This includes ensuring all safety requirements, approvals, and risk assessments are properly completed in coordination with supervisors and safety departments.

The Fire Watch personnel are assigned to observe hot work activities such as welding and cutting. Their responsibility is to remain alert for any fire risks, ensure fire extinguishers and safety equipment are ready, and respond immediately in case of emergency situations. Their role is critical in preventing fire incidents during high-risk operations.

The Standby Man works mainly in confined space or high-risk environments, ensuring continuous monitoring of workers inside restricted areas. They maintain communication, observe safety compliance, and act quickly in emergency situations if required. All three positions require strict safety discipline, attention to detail, and teamwork to maintain safe working conditions on site.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

Applicants must have relevant experience in industrial safety roles, preferably within oil & gas or construction environments. Marafiq approval is mandatory for all positions.

WPR candidates should have strong knowledge of permit-to-work systems and site safety coordination. Fire Watch candidates must understand fire hazard control, emergency response procedures, and safe monitoring practices. Standby Man applicants should be trained in confined space safety procedures and emergency standby duties.

All candidates must be physically fit, alert, and capable of working under strict safety conditions. Strong discipline, responsibility, and the ability to follow instructions accurately are essential for all roles.
