Welding QC & Work Permit Receiver

Ellora Contracting Co. is urgently recruiting experienced Welding QC and Work Permit Receivers (WPR) for a 6-month project. These positions are ideal for qualified professionals with Aramco project experience who are looking to join a reputable contractor with immediate hiring requirements.

The Welding QC will be responsible for inspecting welding activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and verifying that all welding work meets Aramco specifications. The Work Permit Receiver (WPR) will manage the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, coordinate with site teams, and ensure all work is carried out safely in accordance with Saudi Aramco safety procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

The Welding QC will inspect welding procedures, review WPS and PQR documentation, monitor welding activities, perform visual inspections, coordinate with QA/QC teams, and ensure compliance with project quality requirements. The candidate will also prepare inspection reports and assist during client inspections.

The Aramco WPR will receive and verify work permits, conduct site safety checks before work begins, coordinate with supervisors and safety personnel, ensure all required precautions are in place, and monitor work activities to maintain full compliance with Aramco safety regulations. Both positions require strong communication skills, technical expertise, and commitment to workplace safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for the Welding QC position must hold Aramco Approval along with CBT Certification and possess relevant welding quality control experience on industrial or oil & gas projects.

Applicants for the WPR position must have a valid Aramco WPR Certification with previous experience in the Saudi Aramco Permit-to-Work system.

A Vendor Code is mandatory for both positions. Candidates should be capable of working in a fast-paced industrial environment and be available for immediate mobilization.
