Static Foreman, Stand by Man / Fire Watch, Fitter
A Static Foreman is a skilled construction and maintenance professional responsible for supervising the installation, repair, and maintenance of static equipment used in industrial facilities such as refineries, petrochemical plants, and oil & gas projects. Working alongside Fitters and Stand by Man/Fire Watch personnel, the Static Foreman ensures that all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with engineering specifications and client standards. Sunset Of The Kingdom Contracting Co. (SOTK) is urgently recruiting qualified professionals for an immediate mobilization on a long-term industrial project in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
Primary Duties and Work Responsibilities
The Static Foreman supervises daily work activities, allocates tasks to field crews, monitors project progress, ensures compliance with engineering drawings, and maintains quality and safety standards throughout the project. Fitters are responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and static equipment while following approved procedures and technical specifications. Stand by Man/Fire Watch personnel monitor hot work operations, identify potential fire hazards, inspect firefighting equipment, maintain emergency readiness, and ensure that all hazardous work is performed in accordance with company and client safety regulations. All team members are expected to work collaboratively while maintaining productivity and workplace safety.
Required Skills, Experience, and Professional Knowledge
Applicants should have relevant experience in their respective trades within industrial construction or maintenance projects. A Vendor Code is mandatory for all positions. Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge, practical field experience, and a solid understanding of industrial safety practices. Static Foremen should demonstrate leadership and supervisory skills, Fitters should have expertise in mechanical installation and maintenance, and Fire Watch personnel should understand hot work safety procedures and emergency response protocols. Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
