SBM / Fire Watch (5 Positions)
EID AL-ARABIA General Contracting Est. is urgently hiring experienced SBM / Fire Watch professionals for an industrial project in Juaymah. The company is seeking 5 qualified candidates who are former employees of Expertise Company, making previous Expertise Company experience a mandatory requirement. Fire Watch personnel play a vital role in ensuring workplace safety by monitoring hot work activities, preventing fire hazards, and supporting compliance with industrial safety standards. This opportunity is suitable for experienced professionals who are ready to visit the office immediately with their original documents and join the project without delay.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
SBM / Fire Watch personnel are responsible for monitoring welding, cutting, grinding, and other hot work activities to ensure they are performed safely. They inspect work areas before operations begin, verify that firefighting equipment is available and functional, identify potential fire hazards, and maintain continuous surveillance throughout the work process. Fire Watch personnel must respond immediately to unsafe conditions, communicate with supervisors and safety teams, maintain fire watch records when required, and remain at the worksite after hot work is completed to ensure there is no risk of fire. Their role is essential in protecting workers, equipment, and project facilities while ensuring compliance with company and industrial safety regulations.
Essential Skills and Professional Requirements
Applicants must have previous experience as SBM / Fire Watch personnel and must be former employees of Expertise Company, as this is a mandatory requirement. Candidates should have excellent knowledge of fire prevention procedures, hazard identification, emergency response, and industrial safety standards. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain alert in high-risk environments are essential. Applicants must bring Colour Copies of Iqama, Muqeem, CV, Agreement, Insurance, and their Original Passport when visiting the office.
