Job Description

The Safety Officer will be responsible for maintaining full safety compliance during shutdown operations at an industrial site. This includes monitoring ongoing activities, ensuring adherence to approved safety procedures, and supporting safe execution of high-risk tasks. The role requires continuous supervision of site conditions and proactive identification of hazards to prevent incidents during the shutdown period. The Safety Officer will play a key role in maintaining a safe working environment throughout the project duration.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will conduct regular site inspections, monitor workforce activities, and ensure all safety measures are properly implemented. Responsibilities include identifying potential hazards, enforcing safety regulations, and ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The Safety Officer will also coordinate with supervisors and project teams to ensure compliance during shutdown operations, maintain safety documentation, and respond quickly to any unsafe conditions or emergencies on site.
