Safety Officers are responsible for creating and maintaining a safe workplace by ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, company policies, and client requirements. This opportunity is open to professionals with a Safety Profession designation and NEBOSH certification. Key Responsibilities & Work Scope

The selected Safety Officer will conduct routine safety inspections, identify workplace hazards, and ensure all employees follow established health and safety procedures. Daily responsibilities include monitoring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), conducting toolbox talks, preparing safety reports, investigating incidents, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining accurate safety documentation. The Safety Officer will also coordinate with supervisors and project teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and minimize workplace risks throughout the project.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must have a valid NEBOSH certification, which is mandatory for this position. Candidates should possess relevant experience as a Safety Officer and have a strong understanding of occupational health and safety standards, hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency response procedures, and accident prevention techniques.
