An Safety Officer is a key professional responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy working environment across industrial and oil & gas projects. This role is essential for ensuring that all site operations comply with Aramco safety standards, government regulations, and company policies. Safety Officers help prevent workplace accidents by implementing effective safety procedures, conducting inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture among employees. Key Responsibilities and Job Duties
The selected Aramco Safety Officer will oversee daily site activities to ensure full compliance with safety regulations and project requirements. Responsibilities include conducting routine safety inspections, identifying potential hazards, and implementing corrective actions to reduce workplace risks. The officer will also organize toolbox meetings, provide safety training to workers, and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Additional duties include preparing safety reports, maintaining accident and incident records, coordinating with project management teams, and ensuring that all work permits and safety procedures are followed correctly. The candidate must actively monitor work areas and promote a proactive approach toward accident prevention.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Applicants must have relevant experience in industrial or oil & gas projects and possess valid Aramco approval for the Safety Officer position. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk assessment procedures is required.
Candidates should have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and coordinate with multiple departments. A valid iqama and valid Muqeem are mandatory for application. Preference will be given to Indian candidates as specified by the employer.
