Key Responsibilities and Job Duties
The Safety Officer will be responsible for inspecting the worksite on a regular basis to identify unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are implemented immediately. The role includes conducting safety briefings, toolbox talks, and ensuring that all workers follow proper safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
The Safety Officer must also investigate any incidents or near-misses, prepare detailed safety reports, and coordinate with supervisors and site management to maintain compliance with safety standards. Ensuring smooth communication between workers and management regarding safety concerns is also a key part of this role. Strong attention to detail and proactive risk management are essential responsibilities.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Applicants must have prior experience as a Safety Officer in construction or industrial projects, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
