Safety Officer (Non Aramco)
Sinopec International is urgently hiring experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officers for long-term projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. These positions are critical for ensuring workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management across industrial and construction sites. The HSE Officer plays a key role in maintaining a safe working environment by enforcing safety standards, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with company and project safety policies.
Key Responsibilities and Job Duties
The HSE Officer will be responsible for monitoring daily site activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Duties include conducting safety inspections, identifying workplace hazards, and implementing corrective and preventive measures to reduce risk.
Additional responsibilities include conducting toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for workers. The officer will also prepare safety reports, investigate incidents, and coordinate with project management teams to ensure compliance with safety standards. The role requires continuous monitoring of site operations to prevent accidents and ensure safe execution of all tasks.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Applicants must be Indian nationals as per company requirements. Candidates applying for the Aramco Approved HSE Officer position must hold valid Aramco certification, while Non-Aramco candidates must have relevant HSE experience in industrial or construction environments.
Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, hazard identification, and risk assessment is required. Candidates should have good communication skills, leadership ability, and the capacity to work in high-pressure industrial environments. Experience in Gulf projects will be considered an advantage.
