Key Responsibilities and Work Scope
The Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing safety regulations across the project site. Duties include conducting safety inspections, identifying workplace hazards, ensuring compliance with Aramco safety procedures, and implementing corrective actions when required. The officer must supervise ongoing site activities to ensure safe working conditions and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Additional responsibilities include preparing safety reports, conducting toolbox talks, training workers on safety practices, and coordinating with site engineers and management teams. The role also requires immediate response to incidents and ensuring all activities follow approved safety standards in oil and gas construction environments.
Skills, Experience, and Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum of 5–7 years of experience in oil & gas or large-scale construction safety roles. Valid Aramco approval is mandatory for this position. Candidates should have strong knowledge of industrial safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures. Experience in handling safety documentation, permits, and compliance audits will be highly beneficial. The position is open to Indian nationals only, and candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to manage safety operations in high-pressure environments. Familiarity with Aramco standards and previous Gulf project experience will be a strong advantage.
