Safety Officer Jobs
Safety Officers are responsible for maintaining safe working conditions across construction, industrial, and energy projects. They monitor workplace activities, identify hazards, support risk-control measures, and ensure workers follow established safety procedures. This opportunity in Jafurah is intended for experienced professionals who meet the client’s strict educational, Gulf experience, and NEBOSH requirements. The position offers 20 vacancies at SAR 21 per hour on a long-term project.
Key Responsibilities
The Safety Officer will conduct regular site inspections, identify unsafe conditions, monitor PPE compliance, and ensure workers follow approved safety practices. The role also involves supporting toolbox meetings, communicating safety instructions, assisting with risk assessments, reporting incidents or unsafe activities, and recommending corrective actions. The successful candidate should be able to work closely with supervisors and site teams while maintaining accurate safety records and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the project.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a 3-Year Diploma, as required by the client. A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience is mandatory. Candidates must provide a NEBOSH Certificate Copy and NEBOSH Email Confirmation. Experience certificates from previous employers are also mandatory and must be company sealed or stamped. Applicants should have strong knowledge of workplace hazards, risk assessment, site inspections, PPE, incident prevention, and general industrial safety procedures.
