Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Rigger Level III professionals are responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing lifting operations using cranes, hoists, slings, shackles, and other rigging equipment. They inspect lifting gear before use, verify load weights, calculate safe lifting capacities, and ensure that all lifting activities follow approved lifting plans. Their responsibilities also include communicating with crane operators through standard hand signals or radio communication, securing loads correctly, monitoring lifting zones for safety, and ensuring compliance with Aramco and project safety regulations. Riggers are expected to identify potential hazards, stop unsafe lifting operations when necessary, and maintain accurate inspection records while supporting efficient project execution.
Essential Skills and Professional Requirements
Applicants should possess relevant experience as a Rigger Level III on industrial, oil and gas, or construction projects. Strong knowledge of lifting plans, rigging equipment inspection, load calculations, hazard identification, and safe lifting procedures is essential.
