Primary Duties and Responsibilities
A Rigger Level III is responsible for planning and supervising lifting activities, inspecting lifting equipment before use, selecting appropriate rigging gear, and ensuring all lifting operations comply with approved lifting plans and safety procedures. Daily responsibilities include erecting piping spools on pipe racks, dragging and positioning piping spools, handling critical lifting operations, communicating effectively with crane operators through standard signaling methods, and monitoring the work area for potential hazards. The role also requires maintaining lifting equipment records, reporting unsafe conditions, and ensuring every lifting activity is completed efficiently and without incident.
Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
