Duties and Responsibilities in the Field

They may guide suspended loads, use standard hand signals or communication methods with operators, and help position materials accurately at the required location. Before lifting, the rigger should check the work area and identify conditions that could create a safety concern. After the activity, equipment should be handled correctly and the work area kept organized. Coordination with crane operators, supervisors, and other crew members will be an important part of daily operations.
TUV, Experience & Candidate Eligibility
