A contractor working on a major long-term industrial project, is currently seeking experienced Riggers and Scaffolders to support ongoing construction and industrial operations. These positions play a critical role in maintaining safe and efficient project execution within the oil and gas, energy, and industrial sectors. Riggers are responsible for the safe movement and positioning of heavy equipment and materials, while Scaffolders provide secure access structures that allow workers to perform tasks safely at various heights. Primary Job Responsibilities
Rigger III (TUV Certified) personnel are responsible for planning and executing lifting activities, inspecting lifting equipment, selecting appropriate rigging gear, and ensuring that all lifting operations comply with project safety standards. They work closely with crane operators and supervisors to safely move heavy materials and equipment throughout the project site.
Scaffolders are responsible for erecting, modifying, inspecting, and dismantling scaffolding structures used in industrial and construction environments. They ensure that all scaffolds comply with safety regulations and provide secure access for workers performing maintenance, construction, and operational activities.
Both positions require strict adherence to safety procedures, teamwork, and compliance with industrial project standards.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Knowledge
Applicants should possess relevant industrial project experience and demonstrate a strong understanding of workplace safety procedures. Rigger candidates must hold a valid TUV certification and be capable of performing lifting operations according to approved standards. Scaffolders should have practical experience in scaffold erection, modification, and inspection activities.
