Project Planner / Scheduler
Ellora Contracting Co., Jubail is urgently recruiting Project Planners / Schedulers for a shutdown and turnaround project in Turaif, Saudi Arabia. The company is looking for experienced professionals with a strong background in refinery, petrochemical, or oil & gas shutdown planning. Successful candidates will be mobilised immediately after the interview.
Job Description
Project Planners and Schedulers are responsible for planning, organising, and monitoring project activities to ensure shutdown and turnaround work is completed safely and on schedule. They coordinate with engineering, maintenance, procurement, and construction teams to develop detailed work schedules, track project progress, and minimise downtime during critical maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will prepare and update project schedules, coordinate shutdown activities across multiple departments, monitor daily progress against planned milestones, identify scheduling risks and delays, prepare progress reports, support resource planning, and ensure project execution aligns with client requirements and industry standards. They will also participate in planning meetings and recommend corrective actions whenever project schedules are affected.
Skills and Professional Qualifications
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of cumulative experience in shutdown and turnaround planning and scheduling across refinery, petrochemical, or oil & gas projects. Experience with project planning software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project will be an advantage. Candidates should possess excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills and be capable of working under tight project deadlines.
