Pipe Fitter and Fire Watcher Jobs
Pipe Fitters and Fire Watchers play an essential role in industrial construction, oil and gas, petrochemical, and infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia. Pipe Fitters are responsible for installing, assembling, repairing, and maintaining piping systems used for transporting water, gas, steam, and other industrial materials. Fire Watchers help maintain a safe work environment by monitoring hot work activities, identifying fire hazards, and responding quickly to emergencies. These positions are vital for ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to industry standards. Companies continue to recruit experienced professionals for long-term projects because of the growing demand in the Kingdom’s industrial sector.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Pipe Fitters are expected to read and interpret piping drawings, measure and cut pipes accurately, assemble piping systems, install valves and fittings, and perform pressure testing when required. They work closely with supervisors and other technical teams to ensure quality workmanship and project completion within deadlines. Fire Watchers monitor welding, cutting, grinding, and other hot work operations while ensuring that fire extinguishers and emergency equipment remain available at all times. They inspect work areas for fire risks, maintain safety records, report hazards immediately, and ensure compliance with company safety procedures and Aramco requirements where applicable. Both positions require discipline, teamwork, and strict adherence to workplace safety regulations.
Required Skills and Professional Qualifications
Applicants for Pipe Fitter positions should have practical experience in industrial piping installation, the ability to understand isometric drawings, and knowledge of piping tools, fittings, and safety procedures. Fire Watcher candidates should preferably have Aramco project experience, understand hot work safety requirements, and remain alert throughout their assigned shifts. For this recruitment, a Vendor Code is mandatory, while Fire Watchers must also possess Aramco experience. Candidates should have a valid Iqama and Muqeem with at least three months of validity. Required documents include an original passport, updated CV, passport copy, photo, medical report, insurance, CR, and GOSI. All required documents must be combined into a single PDF before submission.
