Main Responsibilities and Work Duties
Selected candidates will be responsible for performing safety monitoring and permit-related duties based on their assigned roles. Fire Watch staff will continuously monitor work areas where fire hazards exist, identify risks, and respond immediately to any unsafe conditions. They will also ensure fire extinguishing equipment is available and ready for use. Both roles require strict attention to detail, discipline, and adherence to safety procedures throughout working hours.
Required Skills, Experience and Work Conditions
Applicants must have relevant experience in industrial safety roles, particularly in permit-to-work systems or fire watch duties. Preference will be given to candidates with Ma’aden authorization or experience in similar regulated industrial environments. Strong awareness of safety procedures, hazard identification, and emergency response is essential. Candidates must be physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions. Valid documentation including iqama, muqeem, passport, visa, insurance, medical certificate, CR copy, and Ajeer registration (mandatory) is required for selection.
