Job Role Overview and Purpose
The Steel Structure Erector role is responsible for assembling and installing steel frameworks according to project drawings and engineering specifications. Rigger Level III (TUV) personnel support lifting operations and ensure safe handling of heavy materials during erection work. Manlift Operators are responsible for operating elevated work platforms safely to support high-level installation tasks. Steel Structure Erection Supervisors manage and coordinate erection activities, ensuring that all work is performed according to safety standards and project requirements. Together, these roles ensure efficient construction progress and safe execution of structural installation work on site.
Key Responsibilities and Work Duties
Steel Structure Erectors will assemble steel components, align structures, and secure bolts and connections as per technical drawings. Riggers will assist crane operations, inspect rigging tools, and ensure safe lifting procedures are followed during material handling. Manlift Operators will safely operate lifting equipment to support workers at elevated heights and ensure proper maintenance checks before use.
