Lifting Supervisor
HASSAN AL AITHAN GEN CONT EST is urgently recruiting Lifting Supervisors for a long-term SABIC/MAADEN project in Saudi Arabia. The company is seeking highly experienced professionals with recognised lifting supervision certification and a strong background in industrial lifting operations. Immediate mobilisation is available for eligible candidates who meet the project requirements.
Job Description
Lifting Supervisors are responsible for planning, supervising, and monitoring all lifting operations to ensure they are carried out safely and efficiently. They coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site management to ensure compliance with approved lifting plans, safety regulations, and client requirements. The role is critical in preventing lifting-related incidents and maintaining safe project operations.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will supervise daily lifting activities, review and approve lifting plans, conduct pre-lift meetings, inspect lifting equipment and accessories, ensure compliance with SABIC/MAADEN safety standards, coordinate with crane operators and rigging teams, monitor high-risk lifting operations, investigate lifting incidents when required, and maintain accurate lifting records and documentation.
Skills and Professional Qualifications
Applicants must possess a valid Lifting Supervisor Certification issued by a recognised third-party authority. A minimum of five years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial Projects is mandatory. Candidates should have excellent leadership, communication, and risk assessment skills, along with a thorough understanding of safe lifting practices and international lifting standards.
