SETCCO has announced an urgent manpower requirement dated 06 October 2026 for multiple inspection, mechanical, lifting, and equipment operation positions in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. All listed positions are specifically stated to be Non-Aramco. The requirement includes both short-term assignments and a three-month inspection program, with candidates required to meet the relevant professional, certification, and documentation requirements.
Inspection Positions and Professional Requirements
SETCCO is recruiting 55 Plant & Equipment Inspectors, 5 Mechanical/Welding Inspectors, 4 Non-Metallic Inspectors, and 4 Senior Civil Inspectors. Each of these inspection positions is listed for a duration of three months.
Inspector candidates must have a relevant Degree or Diploma along with eight years of refinery or petrochemical inspection experience. API 510, API 570, or API 653 certification is required as applicable to the position. Mechanical/Welding Inspectors should additionally have AWS or CSWIP 3.2 certification together with the relevant API certification. Shutdown experience is preferred for the inspection roles.
Equipment, Crane and Rigging Vacancies
The requirement also covers several lifting and equipment-operation positions. Portal Crane Operators are required in two separate listings, with 5 positions and 4 positions respectively, each for one month. Forklift Operators are required for different capacities, including 7T & 16T with 3 positions and 7T & 25T with 1 position, as well as another 3 positions for 7T & 16T. These assignments are listed for one month.
The company is also seeking 3 Crane/Lifting & Rigging Supervisors, 3 Rigger Level 3 workers, and 3 Rigger Level 2 workers, all for one-month assignments. In addition, 3 Mechanical Foremen and 10 Welders for carbon steel and stainless steel work are required for one month.
Overhead Crane and Trade Requirements
Five Overhead Crane Operators are required for a two-month assignment, with TUV certification specifically stated as a requirement. Candidates applying for crane, forklift, or rigging positions should have the relevant practical experience and documentation for their trade.
Welder candidates should be experienced in CS and SS work, while Mechanical Foremen should have appropriate knowledge and experience for supervising mechanical activities. Applicants should confirm any additional project-specific requirements directly with SETCCO before mobilization.
