Role Overview
The HSE Officer will be responsible for promoting a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and supporting project teams in maintaining industry safety standards. The position plays a critical role in reducing workplace risks and ensuring that all activities are performed according to approved procedures and client requirements.
Main Responsibilities
The selected candidate will conduct safety inspections, identify workplace hazards, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with project safety regulations. Responsibilities also include preparing safety reports, monitoring daily activities, conducting toolbox talks, and assisting management in maintaining a strong safety culture across the project. The HSE Officer will coordinate closely with supervisors, workers, and client representatives to achieve project safety objectives.
Required Skills & Experience
Applicants should have previous experience working as an HSE Officer on industrial or oil and gas projects. Saipem approval and previous KGP or Berri project approval are mandatory requirements. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of safety regulations, hazard assessment, incident prevention, and workplace compliance standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills are highly desirable.
