Position Overview
A Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading, and transportation of materials within industrial facilities and construction sites. The role requires operating heavy lifting equipment with precision while following workplace safety regulations and company operating procedures. Forklift Operators play an essential role in maintaining smooth logistics, minimizing material handling delays, and supporting the efficient execution of daily project activities.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will safely operate forklifts to transport materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the project site. Responsibilities include conducting daily equipment inspections, checking fluid levels and safety systems, loading and unloading materials, stacking goods safely, and ensuring proper handling of heavy loads. Operators will also report equipment defects, maintain cleanliness of assigned machinery, follow lifting procedures, and comply with all company safety regulations. Effective communication with supervisors and warehouse personnel is essential to ensure smooth daily operations.
Skills and Professional Knowledge
Applicants should have previous experience operating industrial forklifts and possess a strong understanding of safe lifting techniques and material handling procedures. Experience operating CAT DP25NT (2.5 Ton) and Doosan D80S (5–8 Ton) forklifts is highly preferred.
