A Fire Watcher is an important safety support professional responsible for monitoring hot work activities and preventing fire hazards at industrial and construction project sites. Fire Watchers play a critical role in protecting workers, equipment, and facilities by ensuring proper safety measures are followed during welding, cutting, grinding, and other high-risk activities. Jamal J. Al Jamal & Partners General Contracting Co. is urgently recruiting Aramco Vendor Fire Watchers for a long-term SAIPEM project in Jaima, Saudi Arabia.
Primary Duties and Work Responsibilities
The Fire Watcher is responsible for continuously monitoring hot work areas, identifying potential fire risks, ensuring fire prevention equipment is available, and responding quickly in case of emergencies. Daily responsibilities include inspecting the work area before and during hot work activities, maintaining safe working conditions, communicating with workers and supervisors, checking fire extinguishing equipment, and ensuring compliance with Aramco safety requirements. Fire Watchers must remain alert throughout the work period and strictly follow all site safety procedures to protect personnel and assets.
Required Skills, Experience, and Professional Knowledge
Applicants should have experience working in industrial or Aramco project environments with knowledge of hot work safety procedures. Candidates must be registered under an Aramco Vendor requirement and should understand fire prevention practices, hazard identification, and emergency response procedures.
