Key Duties and Responsibilities

An E&I Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing electrical and instrumentation work while ensuring compliance with project specifications and international safety standards. Daily responsibilities include reviewing engineering drawings, coordinating with project teams, monitoring installation and maintenance activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring that all work is completed within project schedules. Engineers are also expected to prepare technical reports, monitor quality standards, and work closely with supervisors, technicians, and contractors during shutdown and turnaround operations. Maintaining workplace safety and ensuring compliance with client requirements are essential responsibilities throughout the project.

Skills and Professional Qualifications

Applicants should possess a strong educational background relevant to their trade along with at least 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Plants. GCC experience is mandatory for most positions, and candidates with shutdown and turnaround project experience will be given preference. Strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities, communication skills, and the capability to work under pressure are highly desirable. Some positions require additional qualifications such as Primavera P6, NEBOSH, Safety Diploma, Mechanical Engineering Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Original Saudi Driving License, depending on the specific role.
