Key Responsibilities
The selected Fire Watch personnel will be responsible for monitoring all hot work activities at the project site and ensuring compliance with industrial fire safety standards. Their primary duty includes observing welding, cutting, and grinding operations to detect any potential fire risks and taking immediate preventive action when necessary. They must ensure that fire extinguishers and safety equipment are available and in proper working condition at all times. Fire Watch workers are also responsible for maintaining constant vigilance in designated work areas and reporting unsafe conditions to supervisors or safety officers without delay. They must ensure that all safety protocols are followed strictly before, during, and after hot work operations. In addition, they will assist in maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment, support emergency response procedures when required, and document safety observations as instructed by site management.
