Fire Watch (Joining: Immediate)

Key Responsibilities & Work Duties
The Fire Watch will be responsible for continuously monitoring work areas where hot work or other fire-risk activities are taking place. The role includes checking the surrounding area for combustible materials and potential fire hazards, ensuring suitable fire extinguishing equipment is available, monitoring sparks and heat during work, and immediately responding to unsafe conditions. The Fire Watch must remain attentive throughout the assigned activity, communicate effectively with workers and supervisors, and follow all applicable site safety and emergency procedures. Proper compliance with SAFCO site requirements is essential.
Required Skills, Authorization & Experience
Applicants must have valid SAFCO authorization, as the vacancy is specifically for SAFCO Approved Fire Watch candidates. Relevant industrial or shutdown experience is preferred, along with a good understanding of hot-work safety, fire prevention, emergency response, and site HSE procedures.
