Primary Duties and Responsibilities
A Work Permit Receiver is responsible for obtaining and managing work permits, reviewing job safety requirements, ensuring work areas are safe before activities begin, and coordinating with supervisors, operations personnel, and HSE teams. Daily responsibilities include verifying permit conditions, identifying workplace hazards, ensuring compliance with Aramco safety procedures, monitoring work activities, maintaining permit documentation, and reporting unsafe conditions immediately. The role also requires effective communication with work crews to ensure that all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project regulations.
Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Applicants should have relevant experience working as a Work Permit Receiver on Aramco or similar industrial projects. Candidates must possess a valid Aramco WPR certification along with an Electronic Hazard Recognition Certificate. Strong knowledge of the Aramco permit-to-work system, hazard identification, risk assessment, and industrial safety procedures is essential.
