Main Duties and Workplace Responsibilities
Rigger Level 1 personnel assist in basic lifting operations, equipment handling, and rigging support activities under supervision. Rigger Level 2 workers handle more advanced lifting tasks, inspect rigging tools, and ensure safe load movement during operations. Rigger Level 3 professionals supervise complex lifting activities, coordinate with crane operators, monitor rigging safety standards, and ensure all lifting procedures comply with industrial regulations. All riggers are responsible for maintaining workplace safety, inspecting lifting equipment, and supporting smooth operational workflow on project sites. These positions require teamwork, discipline, technical awareness, and strict adherence to industrial safety procedures.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Industry Knowledge
Applicants should possess relevant industrial, oil & gas, or construction project experience in lifting and rigging operations.
