Safety Officer, WPR & Fire Watch
SAAQ Group has announced an urgent manpower requirement for experienced personnel, for an upcoming shutdown project. The recruitment includes vacancies for Safety personnel, Work Permit Receivers, and Fire Watchers, with specific Hadeed ID requirements for all three categories. The jobs are based on a room-to-room duty arrangement, making flexibility and readiness to work according to shutdown schedules important for selected candidates. This opportunity is suitable for workers who already have the required Hadeed identification and valid employment documents. The project offers free food and accommodation, which can help candidates manage their living expenses during the assignment. Since shutdown projects generally require workers to report and complete duties according to a fixed schedule, applicants should be prepared for timely mobilization and strict workplace requirements. Candidates interested in these positions should verify their eligibility and contact the provided numbers directly for further information and application procedures.
Main Responsibilities
The responsibilities will depend on the position selected by each candidate. Safety personnel will monitor workplace activities, identify unsafe conditions, promote safe working practices, and ensure that workers follow applicable site safety procedures. They may also conduct routine inspections and report safety concerns to the relevant supervisors. Work Permit Receivers (WPR) will be responsible for handling work permits, coordinating with concerned personnel, and ensuring that authorized work is carried out according to the conditions specified in the permit. Fire Watchers will monitor designated work areas, particularly where activities may create fire hazards, remain alert throughout the assigned operation, and respond according to established emergency and fire-prevention procedures. Because these vacancies are connected with a shutdown project, all selected workers should maintain discipline, follow instructions carefully, and cooperate with supervisors and other project teams.
Experience, Skills & Eligibility
Applicants should have practical experience relevant to the position for which they are applying. A valid Hadeed ID is specifically required for the Safety, WPR, and Fire Watcher positions. Candidates should also possess a valid Iqama, Muqeem, and medical report, as these documents are listed as mandatory for the recruitment. Safety candidates should understand basic industrial safety practices and be capable of identifying workplace hazards. WPR applicants should have knowledge of work permit procedures and the ability to coordinate effectively with work teams and supervisors. Fire Watchers should be attentive, responsible, and familiar with basic fire-prevention requirements. All candidates should be physically prepared for room-to-room duty and the demands of a shutdown environment.
