Key Responsibilities
The Manhole Watch / Fire Watch is responsible for maintaining continuous safety observation around confined-space and hot-work activities. The worker must remain alert throughout the assigned duty, monitor workers and the surrounding area, identify potential fire or safety hazards, and immediately report unsafe conditions to the responsible supervisor. The role requires strict compliance with site safety procedures, particularly during shutdown activities where multiple maintenance operations may take place simultaneously.
Skills & Knowledge
