WPR, Rigger-I & Scaffolding Supervisor
Saudi Arabia’s offshore oil and gas industry continues to offer excellent employment opportunities for experienced professionals with Aramco certifications and offshore project experience. As offshore operations expand across the Eastern Province, companies are actively recruiting qualified personnel to support critical project activities while maintaining the highest safety and operational standards. These roles provide valuable exposure to offshore environments and offer candidates the opportunity to work on prestigious Aramco-related projects.
SGK GEN Contracting Co. is currently hiring for multiple offshore positions, including Aramco-approved WPR, Rigger-I, and Scaffolding Supervisor roles. This six-month project is ideal for candidates who possess valid offshore permits, relevant certifications, and the ability to mobilize quickly for project deployment.
Job Role Overview & Importance
Offshore projects require highly skilled professionals who can operate safely and efficiently in challenging marine environments. Work Permit Receivers (WPRs) play a critical role in managing permit-to-work systems and ensuring that all operational activities comply with Aramco safety requirements. Their responsibilities help maintain safe working conditions and prevent unauthorized work activities.
Rigger-I professionals are responsible for lifting operations, rigging equipment inspections, and coordinating safe movement of heavy materials. Scaffolding Supervisors oversee scaffold erection, inspection, and workforce management to ensure safe access for offshore maintenance and construction activities. Together, these positions contribute significantly to operational safety, productivity, and compliance with offshore regulations.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
WPR personnel will coordinate work permits, verify job authorizations, and ensure that all project activities follow approved safety procedures. They will communicate with supervisors and safety teams to maintain compliance throughout project execution.
Rigger-I candidates will be responsible for planning and executing lifting operations, inspecting rigging equipment, and ensuring all lifting activities comply with safety standards. They must work closely with crane operators and site supervisors to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
Scaffolding Supervisors will manage scaffold crews, inspect completed structures, monitor safety compliance, and ensure that scaffolding systems meet project specifications. They will also coordinate daily activities and maintain documentation related to scaffold inspections and approvals.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants should possess relevant offshore and Aramco project experience. A valid Aramco Offshore Permit Card with a minimum of six months validity is mandatory for all positions. Candidates must also provide EOLB certificates, medical fitness certificates, valid Iqama, and passport documentation.
Previous experience in offshore oil and gas operations will be highly preferred. Applicants should demonstrate strong safety awareness, technical competency, and the ability to work effectively in demanding offshore environments.
