Electrical and Instrumentation Technician
An Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician is a highly skilled professional responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems used in industrial facilities. This role is critical in ensuring the reliable operation of plant equipment, control systems, and automated processes. In industrial projects across Jubail, Saudi Arabia, E&I Technicians play an essential role in maintaining production efficiency, reducing downtime, and supporting safe plant operations. Key Responsibilities and Job Duties
The selected E&I Technicians will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation equipment according to project specifications and engineering standards. Duties include troubleshooting electrical faults, calibrating instruments, repairing control systems, and performing preventive maintenance activities. Technicians will also interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation layouts to ensure accurate installation and operation of equipment.
The role requires close coordination with engineers, supervisors, and maintenance teams to minimize operational interruptions and ensure all systems function efficiently. Candidates must follow company safety policies and maintain proper documentation of maintenance and repair activities.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Applicants should have relevant experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within industrial or construction environments. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, instrumentation devices, and troubleshooting techniques is essential.
