A Fire Watch is responsible for monitoring work areas where hot work activities such as welding, cutting, and grinding are being performed. The role is essential for preventing fire hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and responding immediately to emergency situations. Working alongside Permit Receivers, Safety Officers, Piping Supervisors, Piping Foremen, Pipe Fitters, Fabricators, and Helpers, Fire Watch personnel contribute to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Matrix International is urgently hiring qualified candidates for a long-term project with immediate mobilization.

Primary Duties and Work Responsibilities

Fire Watch personnel monitor hot work operations, inspect work areas for fire hazards, ensure firefighting equipment is available, maintain continuous surveillance during and after hot work, and report unsafe conditions immediately. Permit Receivers coordinate work permits and verify that all safety requirements are met before work begins. Safety Officers implement HSE policies, conduct safety inspections, and ensure compliance with site regulations. Piping Supervisors and Piping Foremen oversee piping construction activities, while Pipe Fitters and Fabricators install and fabricate piping systems. Helpers assist skilled workers with material handling and general site operations.

Required Skills, Experience, and Professional Knowledge

Applicants should have relevant industrial or construction project experience in their respective positions. Candidates must be capable of working in accordance with company safety procedures and project requirements. Original documents and complete supporting documentation are required for mobilization.
