Key Responsibilities and Daily Duties
A Scaffolder is responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures according to approved engineering drawings and safety regulations. Daily duties include inspecting scaffold components before installation, securing platforms, guardrails, and access ladders, ensuring scaffolds are stable and safe for use, and reporting any damaged materials or unsafe conditions. Scaffolders work closely with supervisors, safety officers, and other trades to provide secure access for ongoing project activities. They must follow company procedures, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean and organized work area. Strict compliance with safety standards and proper handling of scaffolding materials are essential to ensure safe operations on industrial project sites.
Essential Skills and Professional Qualifications
Applicants should have previous experience as Scaffolders on industrial, refinery, petrochemical, or construction projects.
