Primary Duties and Responsibilities
A Safety Officer (Aramco Approved) is responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies across the worksite. Daily responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, identifying workplace hazards, performing risk assessments, organizing toolbox meetings, ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), investigating incidents, and preparing safety reports. The Safety Officer also works closely with supervisors, engineers, and project management to ensure compliance with Aramco safety regulations, promote a strong safety culture, and minimize workplace risks throughout the project.
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must hold a valid Aramco Safety Officer Approval and have practical experience working on industrial or oil & gas projects. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, hazard identification, emergency response procedures, and industrial safety management systems. Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential for successfully performing the role.
